well I want to get some more koralias because I don't feel I have enough flow... in general how many and of what # koralias would you all suggest for a 55g with zoanthids? thanks!

you want a flow of between 1100 and 2200 for that tank
I would go with two number 3's giving you 1600 gph. With two you can move them around and create different areas of flow as needed

btw I had to go to best buy and get a new keyboard because my old one is stuck to a piece of LR in my tank.... should look nice with some coraline algae on it

I used 2 koralia #3's in my 55g tank... Middle to upper in height on side walls pointed across the tank at each other... This allows the flow to collide and create offshoots to lower flow areas of the tank. Also by positioned towards the top on the side walls it also allowed for great surface agitation and flow...

I have 2 installed on my 90 right now, and they are doing a great job... Here's a pic of how they are mounted and the top flow. I may angle them down a little, because I had them angled up to help push and dust from the sand settling into the overflow so it could get picked up via the filter sock.

I have a 3rd one I may add... but not sure as of yet.
