I got this monti for about a month now. My cyano has long gone and now, it is growing on the monti only. I blew off the cyan and the parts covered are now bleached. What is happening and what can be done ?

only some parts have cyano the rest are ok, so I just wait for the rest of the monti to get covered up ?

Suck up as much cyano as you can and leave the lights off for a few days. This will help stop the cyano. Your monti should come back.....

Also you could add more direct flow to the monti to help keep the cyano off.

Also forgot to mention there are some treatments for cyano you could try

Boyd's Chemi-clean....it will get you out of this jam.
Then cut back on feeding and get going with some heavy skimming.

The problem is I don't have cyano anywhere else only on my monti. Which is weird.
