I found this (I think I can see 3 or 4) on my monti with purple polyps. The area seems to be dying and is in the middle at the base .. the rest of the colony is fine.
They move very slowly. Some kind of flat worm? Seems to have 2 antenna at one end and appears stripped. They are tiny .. I mean, really tiny .. this is with a macro lens - the best I could do and enlarged hundreds of times. They slide, rather than hop .. so I don't think they are some kind of pod.
Any ideas?
