I bought this stomatopod a few days ago. It was classified as smithii, and I think it might be correct, but I still would like a second opinion.

It's approximately 3" long and very active. Any help in classifying it would be much appreciated.

Thanks / Johan

I second the G. Chiragra

I looked it up on Roy's list, and it definitively seems like a suitable candidate. Thank you so much for your help.

It is a Gonodactylus chiragra, probably male. I posted this info yesterday and somehow it drifted off into the ether.

Wow, thanks again!

So, unless I'm mistaken I've managed to get a hold of the fastest smasher of them all?
