Roger, Wavebox box question

Hey Roger,
You may have been asked this before, but what is the box purpose? I have 2 6100s plus a wavebox in my tank. Reason i ask i am using a Neptune Aquasurf to control my Streams and since you can get a wave with that, was wondering if i could ditch the box part and just use the pump?

The box increases the wave by the displacement of the water inside the box. Basically you get a bigger wave then you would without the box.

OK! One last question, which stream is used in the box?

It is a hybrid, for all practical purposes it is a 6200 with a 6100 transformer.

Roger i forgot to ask u are the 6080.230 and 6080.400 all i need to use the pump on a magnet instead of the box?
