I came home tonight to find my Kole Tang infected by some form of bacteria (I think?). The top fin has a bunch of white blotches on it (not ich dots, thicker, bigger white clumps). There's also some on the tail fin. It is acting perfectly happy and doesn't really seem to be different from before.

Anyone have any idea what this disease is?

I wish I could remove the fish but I'd never be able to catch it.

Without drumming on the fish type and tank size. It sounds like a fungas. In most cases it should go away but if you have other fish and havent QT'ed that one then i would QT him untill its cleared. This may help.GL.

Sorry the fish is actually in my 150g tank

As I mentioned - I have no chance of catching him so I can't QT him unless he gets sicker

It definitely sounds like a fungus. Can i pour fungicide into my tank with everything in it?

Sounds like lymphocystis, but can't really tell without a picture.

No...I wouldn't recommend pouring fungicide into the tank.
