Any one have any suggestions for plumbing a 40g breeder to and from my DT sump.
Distance about 10 ft. from DT sump to 40g.
Height of breeder stand-3ft. Piping will go on floor of the garage from sump to 40g
Bottom of sump about 4in. off the floor
I will have a drilled overflow in the breeder with two 1.5 in. bulkheads for return to the sump.
Internal or external pump?
I can drill the sump and use an external but will a bulkhead with only 12in. of drop be enough pressure on the input if say I used a gen-x 30?
Any ideas or comment or links appreciated.
