Hi,

I got a good deal on these lights, however they came with no manual. The brackets included make no sense to me. I have a pic that shows all the pieces. I also have no idea what the thin metal pieces are for either. As for the brackets, it looks like there are two that mount to the tank sides but i have no available sides so do not want those. There are these two arch pieces so in the pic i sat the light on top of those but it looks retarded, surely this is not what it is supposed to be like? I guess it is though because I see no other options.. hmm..

E-Bay happens to be a great spot for getting good deals for equipment.

So if you don't mind keep the derogatory statements to yourself. If you cant help don't post its that simple.

I suppose i should have been given this type of mount:

hopefully i can find such a part that can be bought seperately. I even see the area in the rear that this mount bolts to. I have contacted the seller but not liking my chances..

is hanging the fixture an option?

not really, behind the tank is half of a window and the ceiling is about 13ft high maybe more..
