I recently got me a Kill-a-watt so I checked my VHO ballast, I have 1 110W actinic and 1 95W Actinic/white the meter says it's drawing only 102W. Shouldn't it read like 200W ? when I check each bulb I get 39W and 37W respectively. the ballast is wired as described on ballast. So my biggest question is the kill-a-watt wrong or is my ballast bad ?
TIA
Dan

What kind of ballast is it? I would check the Kill a Watt on another device where you know what the draw should be. Say a 100W bulb in a lamp.

it's an ARO VHO ballast

I just checked a 13W screw in PC and got 13W so I guess it's not the meter. so what I can gather is I should see the true bulb wattage usage with VHO's then ?
