I was wondering if someone could send me a link to a good Bulk Phosphate remover something you use and had sucess with.I looking to spend more now but save in the end.

Which one do you use the smaller granules or the pellets.

Go with the pellets. Better absorption IMO. :)

I buy the smaller granules in the 5 gallon bucket and use it in a DIY reactor, changing every 3 months.

Wouldn't there be more surface area with granules. They are smaller so water is getting to more of it?

I guess it depends on the application.
In a canister filter, I prefer pellets.
Maybe a reactor likes the finer granules, but I don't run a reactor.
I think jd does........ he might have some comments. :)

I do not think there have been any careful studies of different brands. I've tried to do them, but it is very time consuming to do it correctly.

I use granules in my application in a bag, but I have no specific reason to believe them superior to other forms.
