Drilling the RSM

I was just wondering if anybody has drilled the rsm to add a refugium is the glass tempered? I was thinking about doing it if anybody has let me know.

I know of one person that's done this. You'll have to search through the RSM Owners Thread but it's in there. Maybe one of the other RSM owners knows better where it is. I think the safer idea is to run a siphon overflow.

There are differing opinions on whether or not the RSM can be drilled. The answer that Red Sea gave at least one owner was NO. But at least one owner has I believe had the tank drilled. The safest & best thing to do would be to call or email RSM support and ask. Or, use an overflow box - Lifereef seems to be the best for dependability.
