I'm pulling my hair out over here.
My T5 Nova fixture decided to stop working, well just the atinics really. So time to replace.
I'm looking at a retro fit kit so I can have the individual reflectors. I'd like to go to HQI's but the canopy is not tall enough and wasn't expecting to put out the money so T5's it is.
As far as T5's go I've been looking at the Ice Cap 660. Any thoughts on it? How hard is it to wire? Is the 40% brighter, 40% less electricity advertisement true, or just an ad?
Is there a different brand I should be looking at as well?
I understand individual reflectors make a big difference, but is there a certain type of reflector I should invest in?
This is my biggest weakness in the hobby, I can't keep up with the techy light stuff, since I try to get one I love and never change.
