I am very paranoid that if I get an anemone, it will sting other corals in my tank. So I want to see how other people keep anemones in their reef tanks.
Post pictures of your anemone together with other corals in your reef tank!! Also post type of anemone, time kept, and any corals stung by the anemone.

Here is a pic of my BTA tank about 5 months ago. Since this picture was taken the anemones have split multiple times and I've had to remove some of the clams and rearrange the rock work. The small pink anemone on the right is about 6" across now. There are now two clams, one small Zoa rock and the M. cap frag that is completely fused to the rock and tripled in size. You can barely see them though, as the tank now looks like one giant red and green anemone (with two attack dog maroon clownfish in residence).
Nothing keeps the anemones from stinging the corals. That's why they are best kept in a tank mostly of their own.

24g I have everything designed around the RBTA, had it for around 6 months. Anemones will sting other corals and have the potential to move if they are not happy. Just wait until the anemone is settled and place your corals around it, remember they grow :D

Here's my sebae anemone that I've had since July of '06. It started out in my nano and I then moved it to my 150 when I set it up last spring. I've been very lucky with this guy because it's been very happy with its location--it's never moved. I keep it isolated between to rock islands in case it wants to start moving.

here's my florida condi. got it about 6 weeks ago, and the pic doen't do justice to the color, cheap camera. the anemone is pink, bright pink with neon green/blue tips. when i got it it was about 5" diameter including tentacles, now it is about 14" and the foot is 5" alone, and the stalk is about 8" long so the anemone can get the light it wants. i'm really happy with this $12 purchase.
