I got a new camera and took a quick pick of the angel tank. Sorry for the dirty glass. These are most of my guys and everybody gets along and has for years.

It is going to take me a long time to switch everything over. The new tank is going where that one is and i am dreading the idea of moving everyone. I have to keep both running while the new tank settles in and the fish will be moved very slowly. I will post pics on the progress.

Sorry to hear about the Africanus. I have heard that they are tougher than others.

I too am in the process of building a Larger home for my angels and soon to be new angels not as big as yours (8x3x3) but should be a nice display for my new guys.

Chris.... 8x3x3.... thats gonna be great ;)

I really think for big fish the the height of water is quite important.... 3' is going to look impressive! Can't wait!

Almost like mine, but not as wide. Chris, If it were me I'd go 10' long. Mine is 96x26x36high. The height looks phenomenal. However, as much as it may seem that 8' is a long tank it really isn't. If you're building a new house I'd get at least a 10' tank so you don't wish you'd gone bigger later. Of course, if you go 3' depth you could do sharks too.

I REALLY want to do the 10' tank. It is still in the running. If I do the 10' I will make it 120x30x30. I was going to make the 8x36x36 or 8x30hx36d depending on my stocklist.

I am still deciding. The 10' would be nice because I could add in a larger Vlamingi (like the one on Divers Den) and it could house a BUNCH of more angels.

I will keep it in consideration.

I've seen a 10' tank in a LFS in Ohio. I really liked the way it looked. Those would be some nice dimensions 10x30x30. All of my fish seem to just go from side to side, so length would be much more of a benefit I think. I have two vlamingii's about the size of the one on DD, streamers not as long though.

Where did you find a pair of emps? Did you pair them up yourself?

Sorry i should have said that. They were 2 that i put together. I had tried with others and it did not work. This pairing gets along without even grunting at each other.
