What are you guys using to glue the frags to the rock? And are you doing out of the tank or in?

Thanks

I normally glue the frag to a plug and then glue the plug to a small pc of LR before I place it in the tank. I do all this out of the tank. Gel based glues are best. This allows me to arrange my scape and place it on the rockwork where I know it will be happy.

I have been buying the ora black plugs. What about these. I tried to cut bottom off but I could not get it. Was afraid to break the frag.

I buy rock rubble which is live rock in small one inch pieces. I take the frag and glue it to the rock rubble by putting glue on the rock, glue on the bottom of the frag. Wait about 10 seconds. Apply the frag to the piece of rock and slightly twist. Wait 20 seconds. You are now good to putty the piece of rock to the rockwork in the tank. Works great.

I just use the duro quick gel you find at lowes. The only thing that has worked well for me.
