When asking for help relative to your polyps, it's best to list all of your parameters including your tank temp and specific gravity and all other possible details of your system and the problems you are having. Doing so will help expedite a quicker response which might mean the difference between life and death of your polyps in some situations.

Sharing what type of lighting, bulbs, ballast and photoperiod can be an asset in some situations as well.

As much vital information as you can share along with a macro picture or two, will greatly enhance the responses you will receive from those who can help.

Everyone here is willing to help, we're only asking that you help us that we may also help you, quickly. There are lot of great people in this forum, that's why I like it here.

I wasn't being mean to anyone by the way. Just stressing how these guys/gals can better assist you with a detailed and rapid response when you provide the proper info when a problem arises. No harm no foul.

No harm. I just think it makes it easier for folks to help out when they see all the facts and parameters at hand prior to making a educated/experienced guess.

A macro shot, if possible, really makes a big difference as well.

it just makes life and the process of elimination that much quicker.

It's a great point. It doesn't help to give no info or to say ' my parameters are perfect'. As you check around, many people keep very different parameters.

And pics alllllllllways help.
