ok i always read aboy placement for lighting but not alot for flow with PPE's. well 3 monthes ago i got a frag of 2 polyps of PPE and in the 3 monthes they have grown to 4 adults and 1 baby which isn't bad IMO but just wondering what type of flow they like. right now in my 75 gal. they are in the sand with low flow under 2 400 watt xm 20k's. i do have about 700gph from my retun pump, along with 2 tunze 6025's (1 modded) and 1 seio 1100 (open all the way) so that puts me at around 47xturn over as this is more sps tank. any help would be great.

BTW here is a pic.

IMO- They're perfect where they're at.

Yep, Id have to agree. They look good and seem to be growing well for you.

best thing for growth is stability... nice job BTW

You might want to put that frag on to a larger rock so they have something to spread to when they overgrow that frag disk

thanks for the input, I was thinking they were growing decent so growth didn't matter much to me. as for the rockhow high do you think i could place them in the tank without them starting to get the white speckles. that is why they have been on the sand bed the whole time cause i am scared of to much light.

here is a full tank shot and as you may see there isn't alot of placed on my rockwork that is flat tward the bottom.

lower in the rockwork as possible.

I mean put a flat rock(or as small as you can find) under them. Check through the rubble tanks at any lfs and you should be able to find a suitable peice.

Good growth considering how slow these zoos are. I started off with three polyps about a year ago and now I just have two! I grew a fourth polyp after the 3rd month but lost 2 polyps since then.

I have several nicer zoos and have no problem with growth but I find PPEs difficult to propagate.

They look happy where they are for now.I agree w/john,put a flat rock under them so when they spread more, they have somewhere to go.
