I tested my water this morning and my numbers looked like this

dkh = 7 / 125.3 ppm

Calcium = 460

PH = 7.8

Why is my PH so low? and what can i do to bring it up to normal??

aeriating the water helps, also it does fluctuate during the day from early morning to late evening, mine moves, not a lot but it moves, some would say thats low i wouldnt over worry about it try testing it at night and see what it is then, bet its over 8

Using high pH additives for calcium and alkalinity, like limewater, or less desirably, a high ph two part system will help. Also, aeration with fresh air.

Try the aeration experiments in this article as a starting point:

I tested it again a few hours later... after adding my calcium and dkh buffer. my ph was 8.4. Besides that how are the rest of my numbers are they good or should i raid the dkh a little?
