opinions on why 200 does not skimm as well as 150

I put a octopus 200 on a 180 FOWLR and for some reason actually pulls out less than the previous 150. The octo 200 has been on the tank over one month put the 150 on again and sure enough already skimmed a cup of skimmate out this weekend. Any thoughts?

is anyone of them set up differently, such as gate valve, mesh or venturi mods?

is it darker also? You might just have the 150 skimming wetter.

No neither one is mesh modded obut both have gate valves and the 150 just seems to do better and I got he 200 because there were great reviews here on the posts
