Ok...so my anemone has been acting a little strange the last week or so. He attached him self upside down on the inside of a rockpile where i couldnt get food to him. I ignored him for almost two weeks but today i decided to turn the rock over to feed him.

And then i noticed that i now have two of these guys...well almost:D Ive been watching them for most of the day and the small portion where they are still attached is getting smaller by the hour. It was probably about 1/2" early this morning and maybe 1/4" now. It is really amazing to watch. Its hard to get a good pic because my clown is a camera hog!

Very cool. If you decide you don't want 2 please let us (specifically ME) know. :D

Figure having 2 will just confuse the clown right?

i definitely dont want two in my 75g...i dont think it would confuse the clown though:D

i believe they are fully sepeated right now...but so close together that they appear to still be one anemone. i will attempt to feed them seperately this week. when the smaller one is on his own and acclimated he will be available.

he will be free(frag donations welcome) because i dont want to make money off of livestock....however...i will be very discriminant about who he goes to(i.e., experience and tank stability).

with that said...cdangel0 hes yours when he is ready:D

2 in a 75 would be fine unless you didn't want to look after 2 of them. They don't split that often so they wont take over the tank.
(Sorry CD0)

OK I think we've heard enough out of you today.

Thanks Shawn, what would you be looking for frag wise? I'll see what I have or can get fragged off now so it will be ready for you.

I don't have too much but do have a nice hammer (2 heads).

regardless of what the popular opinion is....bta's will pick up and move for no apparent reason(in this case i guess there was a good reason:D)....this guy was rooted for about 4-5months then started roaming....its bad enough to have one guy roaming...let alone two!

also...they get big....when this guy is fully inflated and his tentacles are extended he reaches out about 12"....two large anemones in a 75g is a little much since im beginning to keep sps.

funny enough though...right now it is pretty much impossible to tell it is even split..they are sitting completely flush and appear as one.
