Just found out my perc clown had jumped into the overflow
of my AGA 110 gallon. Was going to cover the overflow BEFORE
this happened but looking for any ideas to get him out of there.
Thought about lowering the water level in the overflow but
not sure what to do. Any ideas/schemes would be appreciated..
Cheers,
Brian

If you didn't glue the durso in the overflow just pull it out and let the clown laugh it's way to the sump. I have had several fish take that ride with no harm. Leave the return on so it gets flushed out.

Just thinking he may not FIT down the line as it is only a 1"
return on the tank and he is a fair sized clown...
any other ideas???

Put a net in there down to the bottom. Remove durso and quickly cover hole with net. Wait for clown to get sucked into the net.

And to add to "Tang Salad's" post, try to remove some of the water in the overflow. That way there is less room for the fish to avoid the net.
Have had to do it for my fairy wrasse a couple of times, and the less water makes it so much easier.

I had that happen with a clown and used a clear plastic cup with a couple holes in the bottom because my net did not fit. Just was patient for him to swim near.

I'd think that netting in the overflow would be pretty easy?
