Anyone know if Jungle Creek LFS in State College, PA is any good? I don't think I have any other options on a LFS. TIA.

What luck I saw your post! I am in State College as well.
Jungle Creek does not do salt water. They are a great source for freshwater fish and plants, though if you order things sometimes they take forever to get in. Best store in town for freshwater.
The salty choices are Wild Side Pets and Petco. I don't love how Wild Side keeps their tanks, but they are great about ordering fish. Have not bought livestock through Petco.
I ended up doing mail order for the majority of my fish.
You also ought to know about the North Central PA Reef Society (NCPARS) which has a list here: http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?forumid=246
Also, there is a coral swap THIS Saturday at Penn State. I am totally excited. You can find more information at http://www.fragswapper.com/ and see lots of the animals that will be there for trade. Tour of the Penn State aquarium and a great speaker. Hope to see you there.

Cool, thanks for the link. I had to sell my tank when I moved to state college and I'm just now starting to plan a new one. IMO petco is horrible for fish and I'm more into corals anyway. I definitely would go to the swap if I had a cycled tank. I just hate to pay shipping for all the stuff I want.
I'm going to check out wild side pets today after work! I'm looking for a tank. I also hope the have a good coral selection.
How often is there a frag swap?

The swaps are every six months, and they seem to move around. Don't know where the next one will be.
Hope wildside wasn't too underwhelming... Not usually much to look at in their salt water tanks, but like I said, the owner is good about ordering stuff.
I ended up getting a pretty good price on a 75 gallon tank through wildside, but if I had to do it over again, I think I would have made the drive down to "That Pet Place" in Lancaster. I have never been down there, but their prices on tanks look great!
Good luck!

Yeah, I wasn't impressed about what they had. I just don't like the fact of mail ordering expensive fish and coral, you know? You know I really like "that pet place" and now that I live closer I might make the trip. I'm looking for a 65 gallon bowfront tank, but I'm having a hard time finding it. If I can talk my wife into it I might go for a 75 bow.
Have you order coral through wildside? Do they have a arive alive policy or anything like that?
