Xenia question

I have some zenia that has grown crazy and broke off in three or four different pieces. I tried securing it to a rock but it keeps coming off and flying around my tank. What do I do to attach it to a rock? What do I use? Steps I need to take? I have never fragged anything so this is my first. I heard people say before gel superglue...is this correct? Do i need to pull it out of the tank to do this? Will it hurt the xenia?

I use a toothpick and poke it through the xenia into the LR. After a few day, I twist and remove the toothpick.

You can also put some rock rubble on the bottom of a speciem container of jar and then put the xenia inside they will attach to the rubble in afew days then you can just put them where you like.

use a rubber band to secure them to a rock. It works well i've used the method

Sounds like you're doing ok. I saw a video on You Tube about fragging xenia in case anybody is interested. I don't have a link, but I bet after a couple search tries it can be found.

I use a rubberband and rubble. I wrap the rubberband securely around it without being too tight. It only takes 2-3 days.

If you have really porous LR it's not a problem.
The xenia is only going to need about 2-3 days before it attaches.
