I ma curious if you can get a solid 2-3 inch wave going using these pumps and a 7095? I have a 90g standard tank. Thanks! I haven't tried as of yet, as I just got the pumps yesterday. Any suggestions woul dbe great!

No, the purpose of these pumps and the 7095 is not to create a wave, you need the wavebox for that. They are used to generate flow.

Thats sorta what I figured. How is it different from the Vortechs and the way they create a wave? I assume I'm missing some aspect of science, but it seems like a similar enough product (prop pumps) that you could achieve something similar, no?

I am not familiar with how Vortech does it. Normally you would have to pulse a pump very rapidly to coincide with a tanks resonance frequency.

Put them accross from each other put the controller on interval 1 or 2.....put the interval time on as little as possible and set all the flows to 100 % the should turn on for a second and off for a second switching sides... this will create a wave in your tank... if the wave is to big back off the flow alittle on each side.

You want the pumps firing 100% then 0% which ever interval that is i cant remember from the top of my head.
