peppermint shrimp in a sump

I have some rubble in my sump that have a couple aiptasia on them and I would like to get a couple peppermint shrimp to put in there. my questions is, will the shrimp eat the pods or the Chaeto that is in my sump?

I don't think they will eat the pods or the cheato. I think you would be safe with a few.

They would probably munch a few pods and take care of the aiptasia. I watched a pod the other day wonder too close to one of my peps and get torn in half and munched. Kinda reminded me of Jurassic Park :)
