As the title says, I am looking for pics and impressions on things like build quality, aesthetics, etc on the Finnex M-Tank 30 gallon.

I love my Aquapod, but there is so little room, especially side to side that if my girlfriend decides she wants a bigger tank I was going to order the Finnex and Stand from Aquacave. I like the fact that it is 24" and the fact that it has such a great back setup with the skimmer, fuge, and return pump already sorted out.

Any feedback on this tank as well as pics would be great.

you should also check out the Cadlights 39G Signature series tanks. i bought one and love it. its got a refugium, strong skimmer, UV and lots of other stuff. costs a bit more but with what you get its a pretty good deal.

check out my thread on RC on my tank

I have the Finnex 30m....still waiting on my 150w MH to ship....the stand is garbage...def. do not buy, very difficult to put together.

the tank build itself is rock solid and proven, although I ditched the skimmer (its a big headache I dont want to mess with)...I'm using an aqua c remora nano. The fuge is nice, and its just an overall quality piece...making jbj or other AIOs look like toys...

I was perssonally tired of the rounded corner tanks, so I picked the finnex instead of the cadlights. I love the finnex, but you want rounded corners again, then the cadlights is a no brainer. The skimmer is nicer, the tank is large....blah blah blah.

aslo, peep out oceanreeflections before you commit to buying...I got the best customer service there, before and after the sale.

Thanks everyone. I guess being a 24'' tank I could easily find a stand for it. It just has to look nice or I don't want it.

Any pics?

the worst part of the finnex stand was putting it together, my dad is a craftsman, expert builder, and he had so much trouble putting it together, he just gave up....you'd have to pay me 79 dollars to build it....for me to spend 79 to buy it....no way I'd do that again :)

Yea I think I am going CAD Lights for the stand, as OceanReeflections.com can get me the tank and stand for $450 shipped, but then I have to buy my light.

Hey PL-reef NICE BEER stash! oh and the cabinet is not bad too, JK the cabinet work is awesome!

hey crackerballer, the price of $450 shipped, is it the 39G? i ask cause i payed $830 for mine with 39G Signature and black cabinet. i picked it up at their retail store. or is it a smaller model?

Oh Snowriderz I mean $450 shipped on the Finnex M-tank 30G and the CADLights stand, not the CADLights tank. As much as I like it I am not a huge fan of the deeper aquariums, and the CAD 39 is a little big for what my g/f and I want in her appt. I still have a 90 tech tank to setup soon.
