Advice Needed on D-D Nano cube

Hi everyone I’m looking for a basic setup but space is limited, I have looked on many sites for advice and once I make a decision about one set up I read something then it changes.

In all I’m looking for a small set up to house small fish (clowns and gobies maybe) a cleanup crew and live rock. I would love a small starfish but with all the reading I have been doing I think it will be unsuitable due to size.

I won’t be introducing corals just yet as I want to see how things go with just the fish and others little critters I hope I will get hitching a ride on the live rock.

I was just about convinced on a plug and play set up and going to order the D-D 24G Nano-Cube Aquarium with LED Lighting from an online store (UK side), then I noticed another model the D-D 28 gal Nano-Cube. I have looked on many sites to see if anyone has any experience with these but I can’t find anything from people based in the UK, stores just don’t seem to have them yet. I’m hoping someone here will be able to give their thoughts on these set ups, stocking, and any mods, Oh and not forgetting some tips on back up equipment that won’t cost the earth should anything fail in the middle of the night, read a shocker of a story about that, some UK sites say they have reports from the US about over heating issues and the need for a chiller, been in the UK do you think this will be an issue weather always seems to be naff over here?

Any advice would be great

I higlhly doubt you'd need a chiller as long as ambient room temp does not exceed 75 degrees F. during the summer....basically, run your AC, you'll be fine.

i own this tank and it does run hot ,low 80's at 71 degrees. i would not buy this tank again, this tank needs to be modfied inorder to run well . quallity control and customer service are also poor. in the end most people replace everything but the tank and the hood.
