Hi I would like to know from 430.660 users if the ballast
gets hot to the touch
same question about the VHO bulbs, is there alot of heat from them

I have the 430 and the ballast hardly gets even warm to the touch. The bulbs are warm to the touch, but deff not hot at all.

Same as JG!! I also have a 430, and I can't hardly feel any heat at all. The bulbs do get warm to the touch as JG said.

I have the 660 and barely any heat at all. The bulbs do get hot but I have mine very close together on my 55. I use one small 3" fan and it does a good job of coolong them.
