I've been keeping clams for a bit over a year now..
and have lost few here and there!!
but,Iam puzzled about a large Squamosa which has retracted its mantle to the point to which I think it will dye.
to make the story short, I bought a fairly large Maxima on the weekend from a tank which was being taken apart. (healthy tank)
It got climatized and I put it close to the Squamosa,But I noticed the Maxima spiting a sort of greenish liquid which landed on the Squamosa, ever since then the Clam has not looked the same.....
Is there such a thing such as chemical warfare between Clams?
and is there clams which cannot be combined with others in a tank.
thanks.
