Due to many requests ,we have been working on a new style of reactors to shorten the height of them.
As you know one of the challenges of using Zeovit has been having difficulties to get the reactor out of the stand due to the height of the reactors & foot print.
Most of the stands are around 30" tall which makes it tough to take a 24" object out of ,from the sump.
Here are pictures of some new style of Zeo reactors we have been working on for sometimes & it looks like they will be available some time next week.

The 1.5 liter is made of 4" diameter includes pump(Sedra 2000 KSP) with height of 18"

The 3 liter is made of 6" diameter & includes pump(Sedra 3500 KSP) with height of 18"

The 5 liter is made of 6" diameter & includes pump(Sedra 5000 KSP) with height of 23"

Further more to make the reactors easy to be removed they are all supplied with union valves & the pump & reactor are seperate so you can take the whole reactor out by disconnecting it from the pump by unscrewing the union.

The Auger has been CNCed out of solid PVC & same for the handle nob which you use to twist & stir the media.

Below are the pictures 1.5l , 3l & 5l

You will need the 1.5l the foot print is 6"x8".
Alex
I am sure if you ask a dealer they will get you a quote for no pump version, however
1-The price will not be much cheaper ,the reactor including auger is most of the cost
2-The reactor is designed to be used with sedra pumps so in order to fit a different pump you might have to shorten or add to the intake pipe to be able to fit a different pump
3-The pumps have 2 year Manufacturer Warranty ,we cover the pump for the first year,we have sold many sedras & the return ratio is leass than .5%,they have been very reliable for us ,that is why we decided to go with sedra.
What pump would you rather see on the reactor so I can pass your comment along to the people involved.

The pump & Reactor are not on the same plate ,you can get the pump off of the reactor by unscrewing the union, this way it would be alot easeir to take it out of the sump.
I think this reactor has the smallest footprint & height compared to any other ones I have seen with the same volume.

Hey Chris ! :)

I finally went with the Sfiligoi Infinity 250w + 4x24w T5 with the ACLS system. I couldn't wait any longer.

Those Aquaphotons would have been as nice, if not nicer.

Maybe for my next toys :) But most likely, my next toy will be your new Auger Zeovit Reactor. I really like the concept.

Thanks,
Chris

Hey Chris,

It fits perfectly over my 49.5" L x 22" W x 25" tank. So far I have only one, I'll be getting another one soon. Only one is almost sufficient for my tank.

Here's my thread if your curious:

Hi,

I'd like to hear some feedback from anyone who has used/tested the auger-style Zeoreactor...I would be looking at the 5L model.

How easy is it to disturb the rocks to remove the "mulm," and do the little stones get jammed between the auger and the side of the cylinder?

When are you guys going to come up with a motorized auger? I would buy one in a hearbeat. It could be a similar mechanism to the auto skimmer collection cup cleaners they just showed at Interzoo.
