I have always rinsed my frozen food before feeding but now wonder if I'm also rinsing off all the vitamins etc. that were added...

I think if your tank is in great shape with good readings then the small amount it may contain would be removed . Feeding less more times helps.

I don't know the answer to that, but I do know that most experienced reefers rinse their frozen food...

To be a true reefer its all about control.There all control freaks. :)

The term reefer is over used.A true reefer rinses his food and keeps water quality high. For the most beutiful reef tank then this is whats needed. This is a sensitive eco system that is still young and needs attention.2 big dogs are easier and less expensive. Theres a comitment whene setting up a reef tank.
