Hi all.

I have a Yellowtaiul blue damsel in my fish tank and it is very aggresive. Back then i dropped in an Ocelaris but it got killed in about a day or so. Today i got my self a green cromis and a 3stripes damsel. The yellowtail started attacking the two others and I got fed up. I moved everything and managed to catch the little demon.

Right now it sits in a bowl with water from his tank in it. its been there for about 2 hours. All the LR got moved around and tank is much much different then it was before.

Now my question is, do you guys think that it is safe to put him back in? How long should I wait to put him in? The two other fish still look stressed a lot. Should I just get rid of it?

Thank you for your help!
Max

I would just get rid of it as well as your 3 stripe damsel. But if you do decide to put it back should be fine since your moved around the LR should look like a whole new territory to the fish.

Give it back to the LFS.
It will never be a good tankmate.

yea, the 3 stripe is even meaner IMO.

and why get rid of the 3 stripes?

I have a yellow tail damsel that's a model citzen.
Just goes to show how things change when fish aren't cramped together in a 10 gallon.

"so what would be a good setup for a nano a for fish?"

Try a gobie/shrimp tank.I think that's really cool to see the two work together like that......fascinating.

yes, i would love to upsize my setup, it will happen but not now, I just lost my job and am back to school, but am planning a 90G setup with sump, etc. should be up and running in a year
