When I wake in am ph is 7.8. at end of day ph is 8.2.

How can I keep ph up to 8.2-8.3 all the time?

The cause is excess CO2 in the water, if alkalinity is normal or higher. More fresh air in your home will help, as could using limewater as you calcium and alkalinity supplement. Aeration alone may also bring up the low end. The article below shows how to diagnose the situation with an aeration test.

By limewater, do you mean pickling lime powder?

Yes, dissolved into fresh water. Sometimes it is sold to hobbyists with the German name kalkwasser.

I drip about 1 gallon of limewater at night. Does great and keeps the PH and calcium up. Just don't drip to fast. 1 drop every 5 seconds.

Randy, right now I am dosing Calcium Chloride and Sodium Carbonate with a liter meter III. My pH is a little lower than I would like; it ranges from 7.95ish to about 8.24. My alkalinity is fairly high at about 10 dKh.

Would adding a kalk reactor with with calcium hydroxide (and cutting back on my 2-part) help me raise my pH?

I got the reactor. Should it help drive my pH up?

The reactor sometimes helps quite a bit. I'd give it a shot, although I prefer dosing hand-mixed limewater.
