Hi guys & gals .I was wondering if i would be ok putting my big sohal in with my shark & ray .The sohal is around 16" long with streamers ,the shark is a bamboo & he is 30"long & the bluespot ray is 6" around.Do you guys think they will be ok?I don't want to rip 144 & put him in there just to take him out & have to rip apart the 500.

I think it'd be fine. Be sure to QT the Sohal before putting him in the tank to reduce the chance of it passing on parasites to other fish.

He's in my 144 tank for 4 years & there hasn't been no problems in that system at all.just wanted to make sure there would be no problems . Thanks for the help.

Yeah the smaller shark didn't make it .I had a weird spike of nitrites but everything else read 0 .I put more live rock & some turbo start in the tank & it was at 0 within 12 hours .

Sorry about the smaller shark, elasmobranchs are very finicky like that and can die very quickly.

I don't know if I would trust that big of a sohal tang with a shark and a ray . It would just be a very expensive mistake if the sohal should decide to go after either of the other two .
