FS: 300 gram jar of Kent Turbo Strontium coral supplement (anhydrous strontium chloride powder). Treats 30,000 gallons of water.
Somehow I managed to screw up and order two of these things when I was ordering stuff from Foster & Smith. I'm only going to need one of them and I don't really need the second jar. Rather than returning it I'd just as soon sell it to someone else who could use it. The cost for the unopened jar is the DFS catalog price of $15.00.
One of these jars will last you a LOOOOOONG time. The 300 grams in this jar will treat 30,000 gallons of tank volume. Yep, 30,000 gallons!
That means that you could treat a 100g tank with strontium supplementation 300 times. If you follow the directions and dose weekly, this jar will last about 6 years.
I picked up the Turbo Strontium powder because its absolutely the cheapest way to dose strontium. Unfortunately there's just no way that I can use two of these things.
