75gal tank W/stand&Canopy for $350. To expensive?

Hi there, Im new to the hobby and I've been shopping around for a nice decent tank. Glass or Acrylic is fine. Im looking for anything from 75-90gal. I was doing reserch on a local site and came across this.

He did say OBO, I was wondering what do you guys think the tank is worth nowadays? Is this overpriced? What should I offer? Thanks again.

It looks nice, and the stand and canopy alone would cost you about $350 if you got it from one of the major companies like perfecto or AGA. It depends on how scratched up that acrylic is though. Once that stuff gets scratched it's pretty much scratched for good from what I have heard.

[welcome] that does seem to be a good deal as the tank looks to be reef ready(aka built in overflow) the stand and canopy are in nice shape. so i would guess that setup along would cost around 600 new. but i agree if the acrylic is scratched real bad (can be buffed out though) otherwise seems like a good deal. maybe you could try for 300.00 but 350 isn't to bad IMO.
