I will be going on holiday/vacation this year and i am just wondering what is the best place to go for reefs? i have been to the red sea twice, I was looking at the dominican republic but not sure if its known for reefs. I dont want to go somewhere that is a big expensive holiday such as bahamas etc.

Thanks

I am going to John Pennenkamp National Park on Sunday located in Key Largo, FL , This region has the third largest barrier reef in the world.

Check out their website, it's all conservation land as well so you know it's somewhat pristine.

I'll let you know how it goes. Look up Key Largo or Christ of the Abyss on Youtube.com. There's some awesome stuff.

Reefs? None better than Fiji. Different budgets available.

You cant beat Indonesia,Papua or Philopeans for bio diversity. awesome!

I think be going back to the Red Sea and try out some different spots. Its not too expensive and the reefs are great.

I agree with Rossini about biodiversity. The area around that area has a huge number of species not found elsewhere.
