This is Genny, my Lamarck's angel -- she was sold on and went to her new home this morning. I've never seen a fish eat, and eat, and eat so much! She was rounder than a ping-pong ball; I took a really good look at her before I packed her up this morning and she had put on quite a bit of weight since this picture was taken. Chubby doesn't even begin to describe it, she's an absolute hog! :D

      Hey now, don't laugh at my angel, she's very sensitive about her weight! Hehehe I dropped Genny off this morning with her new owner's friend (he was on his way to pick her up and we couldn't stay to meet him). I'm so disappointed I didn't get to watch him open the bucket; I really wanted to see his face when he first set eyes on her. She genuinely is the fattest, roundest, most hilariously obese fish I've ever seen. It certainly doesn't hinder her though -- if she sees food coming, she can swim the length of the tank in about half a second.

But if my cherub was still alive, he would have beat the cardinal as far as fatness goes, even though the cardinal is a bigger fish than mine cherub.

Hi Psteeleb, ya mandi is fat!! Pods alone? :D

he got pretty big on pods, but started eating mysis about 9 months ago, and shortly after even started eating pellets. He still hunts down the pods and loves to show off to my wife, he'll aways come up to her and strut his stuff.

When I'm workin gin the tnka he usually follws my hand arond looking for stuff, not afraid at all and I'll occasionally bumb into him.

Mandarins are hit and miss when it comes to food other then pods. I've had very good luck with frozen blood worms, if you put them in front of where they are hunting most gobble them right up. I think its the shape and smell. I have another mandarin in my 29g. very healthy on just pods but she looks forward to blood worm treats, she'll come up to the turkey baster looking for them, she hasn't taken to mysis (yet)

Lunch, before mine died, old age I am guessing had him for 6+ years, I feed mine mainly Lifeline's Herbivore mix. He would also eat Spectrum pellets, Prime reef and mysis.

Can still see a bit of his belly in this picture, but he had pretty much stopped eating, and really didn't move around much.

http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y189/toddrtrex/LazyLMB2-1.jpg

Here is his replacement, a golden one. He is about 1.5 inches, and after being in my tank for a couple of days was already working on his belly.
