View Full Version : Anybody has experience with Sea Apple´s ?

Hello Guys, anyone has experience with Sea Apple´s ? A friend has one since yesterday, it was a gift, but I told him they were poisonous.
He´s worried, so any help will be appreciated.

no experience but live aquaria has one in thier divers den and under the photo it states

Jakarta Sea apple. Caution! Sea Apples have the ability to releases toxins that may kill fish in the aquarium when they are severely stressed or damaged by pump intakes or overflows.

it also says for experts

Hi Lowincwrx, thanks for your coments. I know its a dificult species but as my friend already has it and it was a gift, I hoped that someone could help in how to keep the Sea Apple happy and his few fish safe.
If he tries to give it away, no one will take it for the same reasons, so, it´s a dificult call.
