Hello:
I have a 34 gal solana, about 45 pounds of LR and 20 pounds of sand. The tank is running perfect, I have never had an ammonia or nitrite spike, and I have had no algea outbreaks; all in all its been running perfectly for the last 3-4 months.
In this tank I have a dwarf golden morey eel that is 11" and a wartskin angler that is about 3.5". They are both in good health and eat well.
Additionally I add about 5-6 peppermint shrimp every week to the tank, they dont last very long... obviously my angler/eel are doing their job very well. I also feed them 1 silverside each once a week.
My question: Is this too much food? should I not add the peppermint shrimp every week? Could I feed my angler to death?
Anyone out there with Angler experiance could shed some light on this issue for me?
Regards,
Estefano
