Nice pico, it look like mine but mine is only a 1.5 gal. Did you make that out of 1/4'' thick acrylic?

Looks good. A couple questions though. What kind of light is that? Also, I see it's uncovered...how's the water evap? Do you have an Auto Top off system?

It's a 70w DE MH 20k
I add about a cup of water a day from the sink.....just kidding
but i do add about a cup of water daily RO/DI. And i just finished setting it up this weekend so it's still in progress and that's one of the items that's next, ATO.

Awesome. I'm in the process of converting a 5.5 g tank, into a pico with a built in refugium. I haven't bought the light or ATO yet....I decided to put my money towards food hahaha, seeing how it basically costs about $25 for a hot dog, plus the drive to the grocery store costs about $100 in gas hahahahaha

Looking good...like the idea of DIY light in the mixing bowl. Waiting for your update on the ATO.

karlo

It's from Home Depot, they have them on sale in the bathroom department $99 and it's very strong, I bought it at the store and don't think it's online.

are you using a piece of glass to shield that light? The setup looks really good but I would worry about the UV without a glass shield.

It's shielded now but not when these pictures were taken.
Here is an update with some work on the Zoa Gaden.
