Ok--here's my question. I was checking out a friends system that he wanted help with and noticed that he had a nice Korallin reactor running with no PH controller.

Is that dangerous?

PH probably gets checked at the most once a week--if even that.

I've not messed much with calcium reactors as my system isn't as large as his--but I was under the impression that a PH controller was an integral part of a reactor setup.
Am I wrong????

Thanks

A controller can tighten up the operation of a reactor but isn't mandatory.
