Hi everybody, I bought a clam about a month ago and i read somwhere i need to stand it up so mantle is facing the light source makes since to me. Anyway, everytime i do that the clam seems to move untill it's on it's side again. Is this normal? I have it under 250 halide about 16in under water.

what kind of clam is it? is it on the sand or rocks? some clams like the sand, others like rocks.

clams try to move only if they are not happy where they are

This question should be put in the clam forum. Its ok though. You could get alot more help there.

I learned from there, if its a deresa, crocea and that sort of clam, they like to be directly under the light, it could be leaning towards the light. Or its just not hapy.
Good luck
