I ordered an Octopus PS150 Skimmer on March 16, I soon realized that they were on back order( my fault I didn't pay attention to the "THIS ITEM IS ON BACK ORDER") I sent an e-mail to customer service on March 21st to ask when they thought they would receive a new shipment. They responded with "We are expecting new shipment of these units to arrive within next week. The closest we can get to this model with units we have in stock is NW150" OK, I'm thinking I'll just wait till they get the PS 150 in. A couple of weeks go by and I kept checking online to see if there was a tracking number for my order and there was nothing. I called on April 5th and asked about my order and I was then told that the PS150 was discontinued to some poor designs to that unit(bubble plate didn't work, caused back pressure and they were replacing original pump with a better one) and the replacement unit will be NW150. I was told that these units are on back order and are expected to arrive within next week. I'm OK with getting a New and Improved NW 150. I'm NOT OK with the fact that Iwas not told in your first e-mail that the PS 150 is discontinued and I will be shipped a New and Improved NW150 instead.I'm Also not OK with being told several times that the shipment will be here within next week and it clearly has not. It has now been a month since I placed my original order. Can you please tell me when you think I might get the NW150? I work in the service industry and know that sometimes things happen that are beyond your control, But in this instance I feel like you could have done a better job of letting me know where I stand with my order.
