Can someone please show me how they incorporated thier tank into a wall? I'm really looking for ideas/instructions on how to build the stand into the wall. Any help would be great--at least this will show my wife that I kinda know what I'm doing w/out paying a contractor:)

Thanks,
Kris

I just finished tearing down/building back a wall in my new house and put a 90 in the wall. Basically the stand and tank are "behind" the wall with only the tank viewable from the front. I'd be glad to send you pix but there are a ton of folks on this board that have documented their progress.... just look in the build threads or the large tank threads. then scale down to the size needed. Also. when you build te wall (if you do) put the studs on the 12" that will help you out if your tank is a 4' 90 AGA

I know exactly were you are at, I have friends in Ludlow. I built my 125 into my basement. Is this an exisiting wall you are building into or are you building the wall around it?

I'm framing the whole basement, so it will be a new wall with a storage room behind it

That is exactly what I did, if you have not already planned for it, make sure you add some type of sink in there, that is one of the best things I ever did. Also for a sump the rubbermaid stock tanks are great.

I have planned to put a stationary tub across the room from the tank. I will get killed carrying waterbuckets across the new carpet. I only have room for a 29 gallon sump/refgium. With 2 kids, you can imagine the crap that we accumalate. The sump will almost sit perpindicular to the 90. That way it will be easier to work on stuff.

If anyone has some pics, I would love to see them.
