Hi All, thanks in advance for any help.
I have a 5g Nano tank that was an all in one fresh water tank at one time. The Lighting was never meant to handle salt water. anyway I have been looking all over for new lights to modify the system, and came up with something, and am looking for suggestions. I am very limited for space in the hood, but believe i can cut away space for this project.

I will Start with this Kit ($34.95);

Add another socket($4.50);

Extra Clips ($7.95)

Second Bulb ($15.95)

Plus some plexiglass to mount it all on, and screws.
I checked the manufactures website (http://www.fulham.com/Find_Process.php) for the ballast, and they recommend the same ballast for 2x18w bulbs, so the ballast can support both.
Here is the wiring they recommend with that ballast for 2 x 18w.

Does any one have any suggestions? How far can the ballast be from the hood? Two 50/50 bulbs, two actinic, two 10,000k or a combination of bulbs? Any help or comments bad or good would be great!
