Hey guys, love the ballasts and reflectors but do wish you made a 60" reflector as tons of us have 60-72" tanks. I have a question for you regarding 60" bulb's and 48" reflectors. I have a 125g standard 72x18x22" tank. I have three 60" tek reflectors and 4x48" IC reflectors in my canopy, yes i know, thats more than 18" and why i have the question. I'm overdriving them all with 2x660's. Will i be able to get away with 5x60" on my tank or would a 6x60" be better? Its a mixed reef with sps at the middle to top right now. I'm guessing teh 5x60" will be just fine with good bulb's ofcourse. Next question is would it be ok to overlap 2-48" reflectors to make one 60" reflector. Would the bulb's be able to take that weight? Reason being i already have them so i wouldn't have to use tek's : )
Thanks,

Luke

Luke,

Can't really say if you should use 5 or 6 lamps on your tank. Try it with 5 and add the 6th if necessary. Overlaping 2 of our 3ft T5 reflectors is a better option IMHO.
