requesting help with plumbing a deltec ap1004

I recently picked up a slightly used ap1004 skimmer and have some questions on plumbing it. what sizes are the intake and outlet unions? I understand they are metric. I also think I recall reading somewhere that some of the "american" size fittings fit in snugly enough into metric ones that you can convert the inlets and outlets to non-metric sizes.
any info you all have on connecting one of these skimmers into standard size plumbing fittings would be most appreciated :)

I am not sure what size you can get to fit them. I do have both in stock if you need to get them.
