I have my 130 setup since Feb this year. This is a extreme slow build (yes, it is killing me). I want to wait till all the rock is covered with coraline algea before I add any corals.

Has to put some fishes in there :D

Alk 9
CA 420
Mag 1450
NO3 Zero
Phosphate <10

I am running 2 VHO 110 Artinic for 12 hours
One Reeflux 12K (the left side) for 4 hours (10 to 2)
One Reeflux 12K (the right side) for 4 hours (11 to 3)

Here is some pictures:

My question - what is the average time frame for the first Coral?

IS this a reef tank or a coralline tank ? After cycle 4 to 6 weeks you want to start the CUC a few hermots and naas snails or some other snail then wait a wekk or 2 and add a fish or coral then wait and more CUC and a fish or coral then wait. Keep a balance and the coralline will grow faster then you want it to. If your tank is over 3 months up and running with no coralline then theres something wrong.

Not really. They do like a more mature tank. Start with a few zoos and a leather. They add color and life and are easy to control. Be sure there growing fine and in a few months add some SPS or LPS. If your tank is 7 months it should be close to mature but with no life then its like starting after cycle.
