So I have this Condy and a LTA in my tank. For some reason the clowns I have want nothing to do with the LTA but everything to do with this Condy. Tonight after feeding my tank I looked over at this and have no clue what it is doing. Is this normal or can anyone explain to me what is going on with it? You can pretty much see inside it and it looks like the top of a brain. Any help is greatly appreciated.

That's weird that your clowns like the condy. Mine tried to host a condy and freaked out when it touched the tentacles. But they love my RBTA. I'm no expert on anemones whatsoever, but it looks like it's just sucking in a lot of water. Might be thinking of moving. My condys would swell up whenever they would start to move.

looks like the anemone is either getting nipped by the clowns or really doesn't like where it's at. anemones are kind of sensitive animals. check out the anemone care links. either your water might have something in it that it doesn't like or it might simply be trying to move to a more suitable spot in the tank.

FWIW condys sometimes eat clown. they're from the atlantic. clowns and clown anemones are from the pacific.
